Flooding Solution in Old Greenwich, CT

This customer sourced us for a solution because they were taking on water from all directions. They were incurring water from the neighbor's yards, their own rain gutters were discharging close to their house and pooling aside the foundation and their pre-existing sump pump was not sending collected water far enough away from the house. This is an Old Greenwich property and many Old Greenwich and other shoreline neighborhoods in Greenwich have experienced flooding, especially in recent years. Tropical Storm Ike and Hurricane Ida just a few weeks apart in summer 2021 put many properties over their "tipping point" with flooding.

We installed a sizeable CULTEC stormwater gallery in the yard to store rainwater and to send it back into the earth. We also added an overflow to take any water that overwhelms the system in an extreme event and send it out and away from the property.
